INTEGRATIVE BODY PSYCHOTHERAPY

Integrative body psychotherapy is a psychotherapy that recognizes and treats the somatic (physical), psychological/emotional, and spiritual nature of a human being. It is based on the premise that the body, mind, and spirit are not separate, but rather integrated parts of a whole person. Every experience has a physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual aspect, which manifests internally within the body and externally in relationship to others.

  The goal is to  connect the body with the emotions, allowing the discharge of negative emotions and traumas through emotional liberation techniques, promoting self-knowledge, change of thoughts, feelings and behaviors in an integrative way.

This therapeutic process primary objective is to integrate and digest in our daily life, experiences lived with Master Plants or other technologies of Indo-American Ancestral Medicines.

  • If you are currently participating in a process with ancestral medicines and you need to "integrate", or assimilate what you have experienced and bring it to your daily life.

  • If you already had experiences with Ancestral Medicines some time ago, but you still cannot give a nutritious meaning to what you have lived and if you are having trouble connecting the dots that link to the obstacles present in your life.

  • If you have had difficult, traumatic and/or disturbing experiences with ancestral medicine practices.

 Temazcal, Cacao Circles, Ancestral Ceremonies, Rites of Passage, Meditation, Pranayama, Circles of Intention, Sound healling, Use of Master Plants, Yoga, Mantras, and Ancestral Dance.

TEMAZCAL

Known in Mesoamerica since  ancestral times-

This is a mystical practice that provides us with an introspection experience to be reborn physically and spiritually purified. The silence,  the songs, the darkness and the steam make everyone experience their own sensations of connection and healing. The temazcal represents the sacred womb of the mother, the mother earth that sustains us and gives us life.

Some benefits:

  • relaxes muscles and nervous system,

  • benefits the functioning of the  digestive and respiratory system

  • Collaborates with the elimination of toxins and fat.

  • soothes the joints

  • helps arise intrauterine memories
